Coors Light has released a preview of the company’s Super Bowl 2025 commercial featuring actor and comedian Timothy Simons. The ad teases a new campaign, “Case of the Mondays.”

Timothy Simons Has A Case Of The Mondays

In the commercial, Simons struggles to get through a scene without messing up.

“That’s not my pasta,” Simons says, to which the director restates the correct line, “That’s not my problem.”

Things get worse as Simons, best known for his time on Veep, messes up his line, questions the room’s props, and walks out of frame. This forces the director to call “cut” and take a break.

Behind the camera, the director asks Simons if he has a “Case of the Mondays.” The director hands Simons a case of Coors Light in the special package labeled “Mondays Light.”

Simons appreciates the gesture and agrees to “chill.”

Unfortunately for Simons, he’s replaced with another actor, leaving him to drink a beer and watch from afar.

Coors Light Announces ‘Monday Light’ Packaging For Super Bowl

Ever have a “Case of the Mondays?” Many people are likely to feel sluggish and make mistakes on Monday, especially because it falls directly after the weekend.

According to a recent survey conducted by Talker Research, 60% of Americans and Canadians said they’re likely to have a “Case of the Mondays” following Super Bowl LIX.

This was a deliberate mistake to draw attention towards Coors Light’s “Case of the Mondays” campaign.

Consumers can buy “Mondays Light,” a 12-pack of Coors Light in limited-time packaging. The idea is to “bring chill to one of the worst Mondays of the year,” the day after the Super Bowl.

On Monday the 13th, Coors Light experienced its own Case of the Mondays when the brand released a series of ads that mistakenly spelled “refreshment” as “refershment,” giving a playful nod to the kind of mishaps Mondays are notorious for.
