Netflix has released the trailer for Countdown: Taylor vs. Serrano, an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into the historic trilogy fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano. Watch: Countdown: Taylor vs. Serrano Trailer Taylor and Serrano are set to fight one more time after two epic matches. In their first fight, Taylor won by split decision at Madison Square Garden in April 2022. Many considered it one of the greatest boxing matches of all time. The pressure was on to deliver an even better fight in the second matchup. Lo and behold, that’s exactly what happened. Taylor and Serrano met for the second time in November 2024. They were the co-main event with Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson at AT&T Stadium. Serrano significantly outpunched and outboxed Taylor. However, Serrano looked worse due to headbutts from Taylor. In a surprise decision, Taylor won by unanimous decision (all three scorecards read 95-94) to retain her undisputed super lightweight titles. The polarizing decision led to boos from the crowd as they believed Serrano should have won. Now, the two women will step into the ring one more time next month at Madison Square Garden. Countdown: Taylor vs. Serrano will take viewers into the fight camps for each competitor and feature interviews with Taylor, Serrano, their teams, boxing pundits, and more. The trailer teases a sit-down between the two competitors where no love is lost. Narrated by Uma Thurman, Countdown: Taylor vs. Serrano is directed by Jackie Decker and Tim Mullen. Executive producers include Ian Orefice, Michael Antinoro, Jake Paul, Nakisa Bidarian, Jonna McLaughlin, and Amanda Spain. Countdown: Taylor vs. Serrano premieres on Netflix on July 3.
