Cowboys vs. Bears Odds, Predictions, and Picks

The offense took center stage in the Cowboys’ 40-37 overtime win over the New York Giants.

Dak Prescott finished 38 of 52 for 361 yards and two touchdowns, while CeeDee Lamb and Jake Ferguson had nine catches apiece.

The real story was Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey, who hit the game-tying 64-yard field goal as time expired to force overtime.

Aubrey finished the day with four field goals, including the 46-yard game-winner in overtime.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys’ defense couldn’t stop a nosebleed. Russell Wilson threw for a career-high 450 yards, and Malik Nabers finished with nine catches for 167 yards and two touchdowns.

Speaking of bad performances, the Bears’ defense was destroyed in a 52-21 loss to the Detroit Lions. The Bears allowed 511 yards of offense in the defeat.

The offense wasn’t much better. Caleb Williams looked solid on the first drive of the game, which resulted in a touchdown. After that drive, Williams looked lost in Ben Johnson’s offense.

The Cowboys’ offense is going to score points. Can the Bears keep up?

The better question is if the Bears’ defense can stop Prescott. The Bears will be without cornerback Jaylon Johnson, and the status of cornerback Kyler Gordon is unknown.

While the game might not be a shootout, I’ll take the Cowboys’ offense to carry the team to victory.

Pick: Cowboys ML (-108)

Cowboys vs. Bears Prop

With injuries to the Bears’ secondary, who is going to slow down Lamb?

Lamb is third in the NFL in receiving yards (222) after consecutive 100-yard games to start the season.

As long as Prescott plays, Lamb is one of the three best receivers in the NFL.

Against the Bears’ secondary, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams finished with 115 and 108 receiving yards, respectively.

Until Chicago’s secondary is healthy, we’ll trust Lamb to hit his prop.

Pick: CeeDee Lamb Over 81.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
