NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah released his 2025 NFL Mock Draft 2.0. Here are the five major takeaways from Jeremiah’s latest mock draft.

New York Giants Pass On QB At No. 3

After Abdul Carter goes to the Titans at No. 1 and Cam Ward heads to the Browns at No. 2, Jeremiah has the New York Giants selecting Colorado’s Travis Hunter in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Heisman Trophy winner is a dynamic wide receiver and defensive back who becomes a much-needed playmaker for the Giants.

Why did Jeremiah not mock a quarterback to the Giants?

Jeremiah tweeted out a picture of Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford when a Giants fan asked on X why New York would take Hunter instead of Shedeur Sanders.

Stafford to the Giants is a rumor that continues to gain steam with each passing day.

Las Vegas Raiders Select Shedeur Sanders

The Raiders have found their next quarterback.

Jeremiah has the Raiders selecting Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders at No. 6.

Sanders has been pegged as the second-best quarterback of this year’s class behind Ward.

Jeremiah calls Sanders a “good fit” in new offensive coordinator Chip Kelly’s offense.

Three Running Backs Selected In First Round

The 2025 NFL Draft is slated to have one of the deepest running back classes in recent memory.

Jeremiah has three running backs being taken in the first 24 picks.

The running backs drafted in Jeremiah’s first round:

  • Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty – No. 21 Pittsburgh Steelers
  • North Carolina’s Omarion Hampton – No. 22 Los Angeles Chargers
  • Ohio State’s TreVeyon Henderson – No. 24 Minnesota Vikings

Will Campbell First Offensive Lineman Taken

Jeremiah has the New England Patriots using the No. 4 pick on LSU’s offensive tackle Will Campbell.

The Patriots desperately need to rebuild their offensive line to protect franchise quarterback Drake Maye.

Jeremiah notes that there are “higher-rated players available” on his board. However, the Pats need to take a lineman.

Perhaps the Patriots look to trade back and stockpile picks to take multiple linemen.

Eagles Take Another Georgia Defender

The Philadelphia Eagles love their Georgia Bulldogs.

The Eagles have six Georgia Bulldogs on their defense, including four starters — Jalen Carter, Nakobe Dean, Nolan Smith, and Jordan Davis.

Jeremiah has the Eagles going back to the well and taking Georgia safety Malaki Starks.
