Henry and the Ravens have agreed to terms on a two-year extension worth $30 million, with $25 million guaranteed.
Henry had one year and $7 million on his existing contract. The new deal keeps Henry on the team through the 2027 season.
Henry will now make $14 million, $11 million, and $12 million in each of the next three seasons.
The new contract is the largest deal for a running back over 30 years old. Running backs typically decline once they hit 30. Henry, 31, is the exception.
Henry signed with the Ravens during the 2024 free-agency period after spending his first eight seasons with the Tennessee Titans.
The veteran running back thrived in the Ravens’ offense, rushing for 1,921 yards and a league-high 16 rushing touchdowns. Henry was named Second-Team All-Pro.
Good deal for Ravens RB Derrick Henry. The cashflow …
• 2025: $14 million (fully guaranteed).
• 2026: $11 million (fully guaranteed).
• 2027: $12 million.Henry had one year and $7M left. So he gets $18M for the extra year, with the team getting an option year in 2027.
