Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf suffered a knee injury in Sunday’s 34-14 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Find out how long the Seahawks’ star will be out.

DK Metcalf Injury

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald told reporters Monday that Metcalf suffered a minor MCL sprain. Despite the injury, Macdonald did not rule Metcalf out for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

“He’s got a minor MCL,” Macdonald said. “Timeline, I’m not sure, it doesn’t look like it’s a long-term injury. You guys know DK, we know DK, he’s going to probably do anything humanly possible to be able to play in this game, I would imagine. We’ll assess as the week unfolds here.”

Metcalf suffered the injury while attempting to make a sideline catch late in the third quarter of Sunday’s win. Metcalf went to the locker room with an ice wrap over his knee.

Metcalf finished the game with four catches, 99 yards, and one touchdown.

Metcalf has 35 receptions for 568 yards and three touchdowns on the season.

Geno Smith completed 18 of 28 passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns. Kenneth Walker III rushed for 69 yards and one touchdown. Walker also caught two catches for 24 yards and one touchdown.

The Seahawks never trailed in the game.
