Trump plans to attend Super Bowl LIX at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, Feb. 9.
The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
Trump’s attendance in New Orleans comes one month after the New Year’s Day terrorist attack on the city left 14 people dead and many injured.
No sitting U.S. presidents have ever attended the Super Bowl. Former President George H.W. Bush performed the coin toss after leaving office in 2002 and 2017.
Ronald Reagan performed the coin toss in 1985 while in office. However, Reagan completed the toss via satellite from Washington, D.C.
Trump is no stranger to football games. The current president attended the Army vs. Navy football game in December. Trump received a thunderous ovation from the many soldiers in the crowd when he walked onto the field.
Trump has been spotted at UFC events and went to Game 5 of the 2019 World Series, where the Washington Nationals hosted the Houston Astros.
Will be going to the Army/Navy Game tomorrow to root on these fantastic young men. Should be a great game. See you there! DJT

— Bret Baier (@BretBaier) February 3, 2025
Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier will sit down with President Trump for an interview that will air during Fox’s pregame coverage of Super Bowl LIX.
The conversation will be a pre-taped interview at one of Trump’s residences in Mar-a-Lago.
The sitting U.S. president typically sits down for an interview with the network broadcasting the Super Bowl.
However, Trump skipped the pregame interview with NBC in 2018.
Former President Joe Biden skipped the pregame interviews in 2023 (Fox) and 2024 (CBS).
