The global series returns one last time on the big screen in Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.
It’s the 1930s, and the Crawley family faces new challenges that will certainly alter their futures.
While the family faces financial hardships, Mary Crawley (Michelle Dockery) finds herself embroiled in a public scandal that could result in public disgrace.
“The Crawleys must embrace change as the staff prepares for a new chapter with the next generation leading Downton Abbey into the future,” the official synopsis reads.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is expected to win the weekend with an opening of $35 million, which would be the highest domestic opening for an anime film.
After a record-setting weekend a week ago, The Conjuring: Last Rites should come in behind Demon Slayer at around $29 million. Last Rites had the highest opening weekend for a horror film ever at the international box office with $110 million.
Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale should come in third place with an opening between $15 million and $20 million. Polymarket projects the film will overperform with an opening between $20 million and $23 million (+133).
The Downton Abbey movies have dedicated followings that result in consistent box office success stateside. 2019’s Downton Abbey opened to $31 million, while 2022’s Downton Abbey: A New Era opened to $16 million.
