The Saturday main slate has a handful of concentrated offenses that stand out for tournament play. Indiana and Notre Dame are both heavy favorites with reliable workloads and defined offensive hierarchies, while Duke and Clemson offer cheaper ways to find touchdown equity. The six players below, two must-plays, two mid-tier values, and two sleepers, bring a mix of floor, volume, and slate-breaking upside.
DraftKings Week 10 CFB Must Plays
Fernando Mendoza (QB, Indiana) — $9,200
Indiana’s undefeated run is driven by Fernando Mendoza’s consistency and explosiveness. He’s thrown for 1,923 yards and 24 touchdowns with just three interceptions while adding a few rushing scores.
Facing Maryland’s bottom-tier secondary, Mendoza projects for another efficient, high-volume outing. Indiana averages more than 37 points per game and tends to lean on its passing attack early before the run game closes things out.
He’s one of the few quarterbacks on the slate capable of 350 total yards and four or more scores. In GPPs, you build around his efficiency and upside rather than fade it.
Jeremiyah Love (RB, Notre Dame) — $9,000
Love remains the centerpiece of Notre Dame’s offense and gets a dream matchup against a Boston College defense allowing over 160 rushing yards per game.
He’s already posted several multi-touchdown games and just torched USC for 228 total yards. The Irish offensive line has bullied weaker fronts all season, and this game should follow that script.
Expect another 20-plus touches, 100-yard bonus potential, and heavy red-zone work. Even at this salary, Love carries one of the highest ceilings on the board.
GPP Picks for Saturday Main Slate College Football Week 10 – Mid-Tier Values ($4K–$6K)
Roman Hemby (RB, Indiana) — $5,900
Hemby’s workload has climbed as Indiana’s backfield thinned out. The former Maryland back now faces his old team in a favorable revenge spot. He’s projected for around 20 touches in a game the Hoosiers should control from start to finish.
Indiana’s offense consistently creates red-zone trips, and Hemby’s efficiency between the tackles gives him strong touchdown equity. As a mid-tier option, he offers similar volume to more expensive backs at a clear discount, making him a core tournament piece alongside or instead of Mendoza.
Jordan Faison (WR, Notre Dame) — $4,800
Notre Dame’s passing volume flows through Faison, who leads the team in receptions and receiving yards. His short and intermediate work complements Love’s ground dominance, giving him a strong PPR floor.
Boston College’s secondary has surrendered repeated explosive plays, and Faison’s target share around 25% keeps him involved regardless of game script. With 6–9 target upside and a favorable matchup, he’s one of the safest mid-priced receivers available while still carrying big-play potential.
Week 10 CFB DFS Sleepers (<$4K)
Que’Sean Brown (WR, Duke) — $3,900
Duke’s high-volume passing game makes Brown a live tournament play every week. He averages over 60 yards per game and has already shown slate-winning ability with a 108-yard, one-touchdown outing earlier this season.
He works primarily out of the slot and can create chunk plays off short routes. Clemson’s defense may force Duke into passing situations, which only helps his outlook. Brown’s consistent usage at a sub-$4K salary provides both leverage and stability in GPP builds.
Tristan Smith (WR, Clemson) — $3,000
With Bryant Wesco Jr. sidelined for the season, Smith steps into a much larger role. He’s expected to handle more perimeter snaps and red-zone looks, giving him touchdown potential at the stone minimum.
Duke’s defense has allowed multiple long passing plays this season, and Smith’s speed makes him the kind of one-catch GPP swing that can differentiate lineups. Pairing him with or against Duke exposure is a cheap way to round out tournament builds while maintaining upside.
