Flight Risk Opening Weekend Should Top The Domestic Box Office

Mark Wahlberg plays a villainous pilot in Flight Risk. What will be the final tally for the airplane thriller? Below are the odds for Fight Risk’s opening weekend box office total.
What Is Flight Risk About?
In Gibson’s thriller, Michelle Dockery plays Madolyn Harris, a U.S. Deputy Marshal who captures mob accountant Winston (Topher Grace) at an Alaskan hotel.
Winston is set to testify as a key witness in a trial against his criminal bosses, making him an important asset. Harris needs to transport Winston to Anchorage via plane so he can eventually stand trial as a government witness.
Enter Daryl Booth (Wahlberg), the pilot hired to transport Harris and Winston.
Once the trio is in the air, Daryl reveals his true identity as a hitman hired to kill Winston. The ensuing battle ends with Daryl shackled to the side of the plane and Harris in the cockpit. The only problem is that Harris has no idea how to fly.
With Daryl refusing to help, Harris must safely land the plane while protecting Winston from being killed.
Oscar-winner Mel Gibson directs Flight Risk, his first directorial effort since 2016’s Hacksaw Ridge. Jared Rosenberg wrote the script for Flight Risk.
Flight Risk soars into theaters on January 24, 2025.
