Harold Landry III To Seek Trade
Titans have granted permission to former Pro-Bowl LB Harold Landry to seek a trade, per sources. Landry started all 17 games last season, finishing with 71 tackles, nine sacks, 18 pressures and four pass deflections. On Wednesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Landry has permission to seek a trade.
Landry’s 2025 base salary is $17.5 million.
Landry registered nine sacks and started all 17 games in 2024. The 2021 Pro Bowler also had 71 tackles, 18 pressures, and four pass deflections.
Since being drafted by the Titans in 2018, Landry has 50.5 career sacks.
The Titans hold the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft.
Tennessee spoke to Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter this week. Carter is widely considered the best pass rusher in the draft and could replace Landry if he’s traded.

Per BetOnline, the Washington Commanders (+400) and the Philadelphia Eagles (+500) have the best odds to acquire Landry.
The Commanders are projected to have the third-most cap space in free agency. Dante Fowler Jr. and Clelin Ferrell are set to become free agents. Landry would be a suitable replacement for a position of need in Washington.
The Eagles’ defensive line was one of the major reasons behind their Super Bowl LIX victory. However, Josh Sweat will be one of the top free agents.
If Sweat leaves, Landry could step right in and help the Eagles’ defensive line remain dominant.
