Jalen Hurts And Nick Foles, Super Bowl Champion Eagles Quarterbacks, Have Memorable Social Media Moments

In case you missed it, the Philadelphia Eagles are the Super Bowl 59 champions after a dominating, one-sided performance against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. This is the Eagles’ second Super Bowl championship in seven years. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurt won the MVP award. He joins his Super Bowl champion predecessor, Nick Foles, as becoming the Super Bowl champion and MVP while leading the team to victory.
Both Hurts and Foles had memorable social media moments on Sunday night after the Eagles win. Hurts’s moment was an unscripted and raw photo taken of him probably trying to absorb what happened. Foles’s moment was a social media post that delighted Eagles fans and showed that he has a perennial sense of humor and ability to poke at Tom Brady.
Jalen Hurts In The Photo Of The Night
There is plenty of post-Super Bowl hoopla with the confetti, interviews, and emotions shared with fans and family members on the field, but Hurts’s moment was a quieter one. It is not clear where Hurts is sitting alone on the ground while smoking a cigar, presumably and deservedly lost in his thoughts while gazing at the Lombardi Trophy.

Nick Foles In The Tweet Of The Night
Nick Foles is retired from the NFL but has resurged recently with the Eagles’ postseason success. He is immortalized with a statue (alongside former Eagles coach Doug Pedersen) at the Eagles’ home, Lincoln Financial Field.
Foles famously led the Eagles over Tom Brady’s New England Patriots seven years ago. He noted that Tom Brady, FOX’s commentator for the Super Bowl, could be the Eagles’ good luck charm as he has played prominent roles in both games.
It’s really cool that Tom Brady got to be there for the Eagles’ two Super Bowl wins! He might be a good luck charm.
Have a great night!

(FOX does not have the Super Bowl next year, in case you are wondering, so Brady will not be there. NBC has Super Bowl 60.)

Foles and Brady recorded a Super Bowl commercial commemorating the “Philly Special,” the play that goes down as one of the best in Eagles’ history.
