Josh Johnson Signs With Commanders, Has Been On NFL Record 14 Teams

Veteran quarterback Josh Johnson, who holds the NFL record for teams played for in the NFL, has agreed to terms on a contract with the Washington Commanders.

Johnson is heading back to Washington for the second time in his career.
The Commanders announced today that they have re-signed Johnson to a one-year deal.
Johnson will likely be the third-string quarterback behind Jaylen Daniels and Marcus Mariota.
Johnson spent last season with the Baltimore Ravens. Johnson appeared in two games, completing two passes for 17 yards.
Johnson, 38, previously played for Washington in 2018. Johnson started three games (1-2) and recorded 590 passing yards and five touchdowns, with 120 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown.
Johnson entered the league as a fifth-round pick with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2008 draft.
Johnson has appeared in 45 games with nine starts. Johnson has thrown for 2,297 passing yards, 13 passing touchdowns, and 16 interceptions with a 58.1 completion percentage. The mobile quarterback has also rushed for 426 yards and one rushing touchdown.
