Minnesota Vikings wide receiver, Justin Jefferson, has decided to back the Kansas City Chiefs in his Super Bowl LIX prediction.

Justin Jefferson Backs Kansas City Chiefs In Super Bowl LIX Prediction

The Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs will battle it out at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on February 9 as Andy Reid’s men look to win three consecutive Lombardi trophies.

The Eagles clinched the NFC Championship after beating the Washington Commanders and the Chiefs won a third AFC trophy with a win over the Buffalo Bills.

It will bring another battle between Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts, with the Kansas City Chiefs QB holding a 2-1 record over his upcoming Super Bowl opponent.

With the major sporting event taking place in just a matter of days, several of the NFL’s biggest stars and former stars have made their predictions.

Justin Jefferson, of the Minnesota Vikings, was recently in attendance at the Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida and gave his thoughts on who will clinch the victory at Super Bowl LIX.

He said: “I wouldn’t want to face neither. Those are two difficult defenses to go up against… It’s kinda hard not to say KC. Just what they have been doing, the doubts they have been going up against the whole year and still overcoming all of that. I guess you can say the Chiefs.”

Despite predicting a third straight Super Bowl for the Chiefs, the Minnesota Vikings wide receiver also admitted that he ‘hopes the Chiefs don’t win.’

Since being selected as a number 22 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Jefferson has set the league alight with his performances at WR for the Vikings.

His best year came in 2022, as he won the NFL Offensive Player of the Year with 128 catches for 1809 yards and eight touchdowns during the season.
