Shakir and the Bills agreed to a four-year contract extension that runs through 2029.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, the deal is worth up to $60.2 million, with $32 million guaranteed upon signing.
Bills GM Brandon Beane confirmed the news during his One Bills Live appearance Tuesday from the NFL Combine.
“We got that finalized today, but I would say the last day or two, you felt like it was trending in the right direction,” Bills GM Brandon Beane said about Shakir’s contract via BuffaloBills.com. “We’re excited to keep Khalil, here for another four years beyond the one year he had remaining.”
The third-year pro emerged as Josh Allen’s favorite target this past season. Shakir led the Bills in receptions (76), targets (100), and receiving yards. Shakir also had a career-high four receiving touchdowns.
Shakir is most dangerous with the ball in his hands, ranking third in yards after catch (597).
