New York Knicks star forward Josh Hart reportedly had $185,000 worth of his watches and jewelry stolen from a Manhattan hotel room where he’d been staying earlier this year, per Amanda Woods of the New York Post.
Josh Hart Was Robbed At The Dominick Hotel
Hart, 30, dropped off his duffle bag inside The Dominick Hotel in SoHo around noon on Sept. 5. When he returned about an hour later, his watch case was missing from inside.
According to the police report, Hart said it contained three watches and jewelry.

Woods noted that Hart, who lives in Westchester, had been in the city for a Sept. 6 event in Central Park with actor Ben Stiller and former Giants quarterback Eli Manning.
No arrests have been made and police have yet to release a suspect description. Hart reported the theft three days after he noticed his luxury items were missing, per Woods.
Hart Set Knicks Record Last Season
Hart is currently in his ninth NBA campaign.
In 77 games (all starts) with the Knicks last season, Hart averaged 13.6 points and career highs of 9.6 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.5 steals, and 37.6 minutes per outing.
The former first-rounder also set the franchise record for the most triple doubles in a single season.
Through 16 games (two starts) with the Knicks this season, Hart is averaging 10.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.1 steals, and 27.3 minutes per contest while shooting 48.9% from the field and 38.2% from deep.
Per Spotrac, Hart is in the second year of the four-year, $80.91 million contract extension that he signed with New York in August 2023. His deal includes a $22.37 million club option for 2027-28.
New York Battling For NBA Cup Title
As for the Knicks, they’re coming off a 129-101 win over the Charlotte Hornets in an NBA Cup matchup. Jalen Brunson led New York with 33 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 19 points and 10 rebounds.
Hart, meanwhile, finished with 22 points and eight rebounds while shooting 8-of-13 (61.5%) from the field 4-of-6 (66.7%) from 3-point range.
Knicks coach Mike Brown didn’t take out his starters until 2:17 remained in the game and his team up by 24.
New York improved to 3-1 in NBA Cup play, and the Eastern Conference contender will now host the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night in another NBA Cup group stage game.
