John Harbaugh Signs Contract Extension With Ravens

Harbaugh will be in Baltimore at least a few more seasons.

The Ravens announced on Friday that they have reached a three-year contract extension with Harbaugh.

Harbaugh was entering the final year of his current three-year extension. The new contract keeps Harbaugh at the helm in Baltimore through the 2028 season.

In 2008, the Ravens hired Harbaugh as the franchise’s third-ever head coach.

Baltimore has been one of the best teams during Harbaugh’s tenure. The 62-year-old has a regular season record of 172-104 and a 13-11 playoff record.

The highlight of Harbaugh’s tenure is a win in Super Bowl XLVII.

Baltimore has consistently been in the postseason under Harbaugh, who is one of five head coaches to lead a team to the postseason at least 12 times in his first 17 seasons.

The Ravens have won six AFC North titles, including the last two.

Under Harbaugh, the Ravens have made four AFC Championship appearances (1-3).
