Miami Dolphins Ticket Prices Drop 33% After Injury To Tua Tagovailoa
Before the 2024 season began, the Miami Dolphins had the 13th most expensive average ticket price in the NFL. After a promising campaign last year, there was some hype surrounding the franchise and curiosity about how they’d capitalize, and their mean ticket price sat at $141 for the eight home games. But after the early-season injury to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, that number has dropped considerably.

Given the nature of his head injury and his history with them, it is unknown how long Tagovailoa will be out of action. But the team placed him on the injured reserved list after Week 2, meaning that he’ll be out until at least the final week of October.
The ticket prices to see the Dolphins have been obviously affected. A week before the start of the season, the get-in price for the Week 4 Monday Night Football game against the Tennessee Titans was at $92. But that figure has decreased by over 80%, and currently sits at $18 for a single ticket.
Date | Opponent | Aug. 25th Price | Current Price | Change |
Sept 30th | Titans | $92 | $18 | 80% |
Oct 27 | Cardinals | $99 | $66 | 33% |
Nov 17 | Raiders | $132 | $113 | 14% |
Nov 24 | Patriots | $119 | $105 | 12% |
Dec 8 | Jets | $149 | $89 | 40% |
Dec 22 | 49ers | $215 | $170 | 21% |
Prices Down 33% Overall
The prices have dropped for all the other games on the schedule, as well. Overall, prices are down a total of 33%. The December 8th contest against the Jets was once priced at $149, but the get-in price is now $89. The home finale against the 49ers is down to $170 from $215.
Prices could drop even further if Tagovailoa continues to miss time or if the Dolphins continue to struggle. The team is off to a disappointing 1-2 start and are already on to their third starting quarterback of the season, all while the division rival Bills look like legit Super Bowl contenders. Unless they are able to stack a few wins in the coming weeks, the season will be lost.
