Willem Dafoe & Catherine O’Hara Are Pickleball Hustlers In Michelob Ultra Super Bowl 2025 Commercial

Willem Dafoe and Catherine O’Hara are the ultimate pickleball hustlers in Michelob Ultra’s Super Bowl 2025 Commercial.
Willem Dafoe & Catherine O’Hara Play Pickleball For Michelob Ultras
Dafoe and O’Hara don’t look like great athletes sitting at the bar to start the commercial.
The duo agrees to play a couple in a game of pickleball. The winner gets two Michelob Ultras.
“You guys sure you want this?” the female opponent asks, to which O’Hara replies, “Please serve.”
Once the game starts, Dafoe and O’Hara reveal their true identities as pickleball experts as they dominate the match on the way to victory.
“That was fun,” O’Hara tells Dafoe as they clink glasses with the winning beers after the match. The two actors continue hustling people for Michelob Ultras throughout the ad.
O’Hara and Dafoe even beat a few professional athletes along the way, including WNBA Champion Sabrina Ionescu, NFL Hall of Famer Randy Moss, and Olympic gold medalist Ryan Crouser.

Play you for an Ultra?
Michelob Ultra’s Super Bowl 2025 Commercial is about active and social lifestyles.
The Super Bowl spot is “The Ultra Hustle,” which promotes friendly competition on and off the court or field.
“For me, it was such a thrill to be a part of this Super Bowl commercial, so I have Michelob ULTRA to thank for making me feel very cool,” said O’Hara in a press release. “I just know that people will see this and have a good laugh – Willem and I had such a good time hustling everyone on the pickleball court.”
The idea of “playing for an Ultra’ is the perfect beer for Super Bowl Sunday, considering it features the NFL’s two best teams.
Super Bowl LIX will be played between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Feb. 9. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET.
