The 40-yard dash is the premiere event annually at the NFL Combine. It allows prospects to show off their speed, and the results are often the biggest piece of information that scouts take away from the weekend.

Defensive backs and wide receivers typically dominate the leaderboard, and this year has been no different. Of the 15 fastest recorded times, only one came from outside those two positions, as Virginia Tech running back Bayshul Tuten came in 5th. There weren’t any notable records broken this year, but one player was able to move into the top-10 of fastest recorded times in the history of the Combine.

Below are the fastest 40-yard dash times at the 2025 NFL Combine, sorted by position.
