Like the Cleveland Browns, the New York Giants have a major decision with the third pick.
After a 3-14 season, Schoen and Daboll enter the season on the hot seat.
The third pick will come down to a franchise-altering decision. Do the Giants take a quarterback or the best available player?
Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders is the likely choice if the Giants take a quarterback. Sanders is a throwback pocket passer with NFL accuracy and toughness.
Sanders does not even have to play right away. The Giants signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston this offseason, with the former probably starting as QB1.
If the Giants pass on Sanders, they could take the best player available, which will likely be Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter. Both players are needs for a Giants team that needs dynamic options.

Pairing Carter with Brian Burns, Dexter Lawrence II, and Kayvon Thibodeaux would give the Giants a top 10 defensive line.
