The Los Angeles Chargers and Detroit Lions will play in the 2025 NFL Hall of Fame contest.
The Hall of Fame Game will be broadcast on NBC.
Should We Expect To See Starters Suit Up?
Much like other Hall of Fame contests, do not expect to see much from the starters, if any at all.
Each team still has three other preseason games to get prepared. It is unlikely either team sends out their main players.
This is a good time for other players to make a name for themselves and get opportunities.
The Lions and Chargers are two playoff caliber teams that will want to see their depth players they have suit up.
The likes of Jared Goff, Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Sam Laporta, Aidan Hutchinson, and offensive line stars for the Lions will unlikely suit up.
For the Chargers, do not expect to see Justin Herbert or any of their key players.
Despite not seeing the starters for each team, the NFL Hall of Fame Game is still an exciting game to watch as it kicks off the NFL preseason and signals the NFL season is near.
