NFL Officially Opens Investigation on Justin Tucker, Tucker Breaks Silence on Allegations

More Allegations Emerge Against Ravens Kicker Justin Tucker as NFL Investigation Expands

The allegations against Justin Tucker continue to mount, raising serious questions about the future of the Baltimore Ravens’ star kicker and one of the most decorated special teams players in NFL history.

According to a report from The Baltimore Banner, seven more massage therapists have come forward with accusations of sexually inappropriate behavior and misconduct against Tucker, bringing the total number of accusers to 16 women across eight different Baltimore-area spas. The alleged incidents span from 2012 to 2016.

In response to the growing allegations, the NFL has sent investigators to Baltimore to conduct interviews with several of the women who have accused Tucker of misconduct, according to three women who participated in the inquiry.

Tucker’s Response and Ravens’ Dilemma

Tucker has denied all allegations, with his attorney referring back to a previous statement in which the kicker called the accusations “unequivocally false.”

For the Ravens, the situation is becoming increasingly complex. At what point do the accusations become too much to ignore? With the NFL actively investigating, the franchise may soon be forced to make a decision on Tucker’s future.

On the field, Tucker is coming off one of the least consistent seasons of his career. He missed a career-high eight field goals in 2024, including just one made field goal from beyond 50 yards in the previous season. While he finished the year strong—making his final 28 kicks (five field goals and 23 extra points)—his performance was noticeably below his usual standard.

At 35 years old, Tucker remains a seven-time Pro Bowler, a Super Bowl champion, and the most accurate kicker in NFL history. He is the longest-tenured player on the Ravens and the last remaining member of Baltimore’s 2012 championship team. However, the combination of off-the-field controversy and declining production presents a difficult decision for the organization.

Contract Considerations and Potential Fallout

Tucker is still under contract, with three years remaining on a four-year, $24 million extension. However, none of his salary is guaranteed beyond this season, meaning the Ravens could move on from him without financial penalty.

For now, the NFL’s investigation will dictate the next steps. If the league finds evidence to support the allegations, Tucker could face suspension or even placement on the Commissioner’s Exempt List, which would force him to sit out indefinitely. If the Ravens decide to act preemptively, they could release him before the league makes a final ruling.

Tucker’s legacy as one of the greatest kickers of all time is undeniable. But as more allegations surface and the investigation unfolds, his future in Baltimore—and perhaps in the NFL—has never been more uncertain.
