Heading into Week 14, here’s the playoff picture for the 2025 NFL season. If the season ended today, which teams would be in the playoffs?

The road to the Super Bowl might run through Foxborough for the first time in the post-Tom Brady era.
The New England Patriots moved to 11-2 after a dominant 33-15 victory over the New York Giants. After the Patriots’ bye, they play the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins.
If the Patriots go 3-1, that should be enough to clinch the AFC.
Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos improved to 10-2 thanks to a one-point overtime victory over the Washington Commanders. Unlike the Patriots, the Broncos’ schedule is much tougher, with games against the Raiders, Packers, Jaguars, Chiefs, and Chargers.
The Indianapolis Colts find themselves out of first place in the AFC South for the first time in months. The Jacksonville Jaguars are now in first place at 8-4. Those two teams square off in Week 14, with the winner moving into sole possession of first place.
Speaking of ties, the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers are both 6-6. The winner of Sunday’s contest in Baltimore moves into first place in the AFC North.

The Chicago Bears are a legitimate NFC threat. The Bears went into Philadelphia and bullied the Eagles in their Black Friday victory.
At 9-3, the Bears now sit atop the NFC. Sunday’s game between the Bears and Green Bay Packers will be for first place in the NFC North.
The Los Angeles Rams stumbled in their loss to the Carolina Panthers. The Rams remain one of the best teams in the NFL and should bounce back in Week 14’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Don’t look now, but the Dallas Cowboys have won three straight games, including wins over the Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. The Cowboys are now one game behind the Eagles in the loss column for the NFC East lead. The Cowboys face the Detroit Lions in a loser-leaves-town match, while the Eagles head west to play the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers righted the ship with a victory over the Cardinals, while the Panthers pulled off a stunning upset over the Rams. The Bucs face the Saints on Sunday, while the Panthers have a bye week.
