Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins came off injured reserve last week. Will he play on Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys?

Nico Collins Will Play In Week 11

After Friday’s practice, Collins confirmed he’s ready to go.

“Hell yeah, I’m playing this week,” Collins said via Aaron Wilson.

Collins injured his hamstring in Week 5’s win over the Buffalo Bills. Collins’ injury required a stint on injured reserve.

Collins came off injured reserve but did not play in Sunday’s loss against the Detroit Lions.

Collins was arguably the best receiver in the NFL through four weeks, with an average of 10+ targets and 120 yards/game. This season, Collins has 32 receptions for 567 yards and three touchdowns.

Head coach DeMeco Ryans is excited to have his top wide receiver back in the lineup.

“Getting Nico back is always very great for all of us,” Ryans said (via ESPN). “Nico’s been one of our best players when he was healthy, so it’s great to have him back, great to have his presence and the energy that he brings and also the playmaking ability that he brings. Happy to have him back and really proud of him for the work he’s put in to get himself back.”

Texans Face Cowboys On Monday Night Football

The Texans (6-4) head to Jerryworld to play the Cowboys (3-6) on Monday Night Football.

Since the Texans beat the Patriots to move to 5-1, they’ve dropped three of the next four, including last week’s 26-23 loss to the Lions.

The happiest Texan to see Collins back in the lineup is C.J. Stroud. The second-year quarterback has only completed 53.7% of his passes over the last four games.

Despite the losing streak, the Texans still hold a two-game lead over the Indianapolis Colts (4-6).
