Jameis Winston

FOX could not have known how successful the idea of making Jameis Winston a digital correspondent for Super Bowl 59 would be. NFL fans know he is charismatic and animated in the huddle and on the sidelines, but the free-agent quarterback has been in his element in his former stomping grounds, New Orleans.

Winston has outshone and outperformed all of the content creators on the ground in New Orleans.  How did he do it?  In short, he does everything with a smile, a joke, and a dance.  Here are some of the top Winston moments this week.

1. Jameis Winston At Super Bowl Media Day

Winston was thinking about his regular job when he asked Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley where he should play next year.  In a funny exchange Barkley offered up his former team, the New York Giants.

2. Jameis Winston Orchestrates A Beignet-Eating Contest

The hilarity ensues when Winston recruits candidates for a beignet-eating contest at the legendary Cafe Du Monde. Along with the powdered sugar eye black, a highlight is when Winston asks a kid what job he should have next year, and the kid tells him he should work at McDonald’s.

3. Jameis Winston Bikes And Sings

Lucky fans got a lift from Winston as he biked and sang to them.

4. Jameis Winston Dances, Wears Pirate Garb, And Throws Crab Legs

Some videos defy explanation but elicit laughter.
