Only Two NFL Teams Remain Unbeaten Through Week 4

Five NFL teams entered Week 4 with an undefeated record, with all in being in action on Sunday. But after a day of upsets, teams like the 49ers and Chargers found themselves in the loss column, and there are only two squads that have yet to suffer defeat through the first month.

Eagles, Bills Are Only Remaining Undefeated NFL Teams

The Buffalo Bills suffered a couple of scares in recent weeks. They were tied with the Miami Dolphins in the fourth quarter of Week 3’s Thursday night game, and had Sunday’s lead against the New Orleans Saints cut to just 2 in the final frame. But they were able to hold on in both, and are now atop the AFC at 4-0.

As for the Philadelphia Eagles, they remained unbeaten after downing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Jalen Hurts and company already have some marquee wins this season, including victories against the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams, and are already two games up in the NFC East.

One can’t help but envision a Super Bowl matchup between the two sides. Each one comes closer to home field advantage in the postseason with every win, and they are two of the favorites to advance to the big game in February. But we will be guaranteed at least one meeting featuring the Bills and Eagles, and that will come during NFL Week 17 in a big showdown in Buffalo.

How long will each team remain unbeaten? The Bills will take on the New England Patriots in Week 5 in a divisional matchup, before taking on the Atlanta Falcons the following week. Buffalo will then enjoy an early bye week, followed by a meeting with the Carolina Panthers.

The Eagles have what should be a good game against the Denver Broncos scheduled for Week 5, and will take on the New York Giants in two of the following three contests.
