The Green Bay Packers are heading to the postseason. With Monday night’s win over the New Orleans Saints, the Packers have clinched a spot in the NFL playoffs.

Packers Defeat Saints On Monday Night Football

The Packers (11-4) dominated the Saints (5-10) from start to finish in a 34-0 victory.

The Packers rushing attack was the story of the game, finishing with 188 yards and three touchdowns. Josh Jacobs led the way with 13 carries for 69 yards and one touchdown, his sixth straight game with a rushing touchdown.

Jordan Love completed 16 of 28 passes for 182 yards and one touchdown.

The Packers did what they had to do, considering the Saints had a depleted roster. The Saints were without running back Alvin Kamara (groin), and a backup quarterback started in place of the injured Derek Carr.

Packers Make The Playoffs

The Packers (11-4) have now made the playoffs in five of six seasons under head coach Matt LaFleur.

Green Bay missed the playoffs in 2022 during Aaron Rodgers’ final season. The Packers lost to the Detroit Lions in a win-and-in situation in Week 18.

The Packers finish the season at the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17 before playing the Chicago Bears in Week 18.

The Packers are currently slotted as the No. 6 seed. If the postseason ended today, the Packers would face the Rams in the Wild Card round.
