What a few weeks it’s been for Patriots Nation.
Two weeks ago, Drake Maye and the Patriots went into Buffalo as heavy underdogs and upset the Bills on Sunday Night Football.
Last week was a classic letdown spot, but the Patriots managed to escape New Orleans with a 25-19 win.
Maye is playing the best football of his young career. Maye has over 700 yards passing, five touchdowns, and zero interceptions over his last three games. The Patriots are 3-0 over that stretch.
This is a tough spot for the Patriots, coming off two consecutive last-minute victories. It’s a huge ask to cover a 7-point spread in their third consecutive road game. The Patriots are 3-0 SU and ATS on the road this season.
Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel returns to Tennessee for the first time since being fired by the team two seasons ago. The revenge game narrative is in full effect.
The Titans made a drastic change following Week 6. The organization hired Brian Callahan as their head coach and promoted senior offensive assistant Mike McCoy.
The Titans were abysmal with Callahan — 4-19 ATS. Teams that usually fire their head coach during the season receive a much-needed boost the following game. Per Bet IQ, teams are 20-13 ATS in their first game with an interim coach.
First and foremost, the Titans must protect their top asset, quarterback Cam Ward, who has been sacked a league-high 25 times. Ward could also be with top receiver Calvin Ridley, who is dealing with a hamstring injury.
New England is probably going to be in every moneyline parlay and teaser this week. However, the Titans are going to come out hot and throw the kitchen sink at the Patriots. The Pats should win, but I like the Titans to cover the touchdown spread.

The Titans allow the fewest rushing yards to quarterbacks (11.83 per game). The Titans should contain Maye on Sunday.
