Justin Tucker is statistically one of the greatest NFL kickers of all time. But he has been out of the league this season due to sexual misconduct allegations stemming from early on in his career, having been handed down a ten-game suspension.
Will Justin Tucker Play In The NFL In 2025?
He is now eligible to return, and there are multiple teams that could use help on special teams. Will Tucker be receiving any calls on that front? The prediction platform Polymarket has provided the likelihood of the 35-year-old kicker signing with an NFL team this season, and the figure isn’t all that promising for him.
The Baltimore Banner first published accounts from six massage therapists who claim that between 2012 and 2016, during Tucker’s early years in the league, he engaged in inappropriate behavior during massage sessions

These accusations soon grew. Ultimately, 16 therapists across eight high-end Baltimore-area spas went on record. Some said they ended sessions early or refused to treat him again; two spas even reportedly banned him. In response, Tucker strongly denied the claims, calling them “unequivocally false” and stating in a public message that he had “never been accused of misconduct of any kind” by a massage therapist.
On May 5, 2025, Baltimore released Tucker after 13 seasons; the team framed the move as a “football decision.” He was handed down a ten-game suspension by the NFL.
According to Polymarket, Justin Tucker currently has a 40% chance of being signed this season. When the market opened on the topic on Monday, it sat at 65%, and has steadily dropped ever since.

This likely has something to do with both the San Francisco 49ers and Washington Commanders. Both teams entered the week with a potential need for a kicker, with Eddy Pineiro hurt and Matt Gay being cut. But the Commanders decided to sign Jake Moody who used to kick in San Francisco, and the 49ers picked up Gay to complete the full circle of transactions.
There will be other teams that will have kicking needs pop up throughout the rest of the season, but Justin Tucker’s chances of getting a call are dwindling.
