Los Angeles Rams Draft Picks

The Rams were on the cusp of an upset against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional Round before Jalen Carter made two game-saving plays to secure the victory.

The Rams remain one of the NFC’s top teams and will be favored to win the NFC West.

The Rams have eight draft picks, including four in the sixth round.

2025 NFL Draft: Los Angeles’ Team Needs

Tight End

Last season, Sean McVay desperately tried to trade up in the 2024 Draft to take Georgia’s Brock Bowers. McVay’s belief in Bowers was warranted, as Bowers set the record for most receptions (112) and most receiving yards (1,194) by a rookie tight end.

Tyler Higbee only played five games total after missing most of the season with an injury. Higbee’s backup, Colby Parkinson, is average at best.

While tight end is not at the top of the Rams’ list, it’s a position where McVay could be looking for an upgrade.

Cornerback

Since 2017, McVay has only drafted one cornerback in the top 100.

The Rams ranked 26th against the pass in 2024.

Since trading Jalen Ramsey to the Dolphins in 2023, the Rams have not found a true No. 1 cornerback. Cobie Durant, Derion Kendrick, Ahkello Witherspoon, and Darious Williams are projected to be the team’s cornerbacks. It’s time to find a young, elite corner.

Linebacker

The Rams linebacking corps might be their weakest unit on the team.

The team signed Nate Landman and Troy Reader to one-year deals after losing Christian Rozeboom and Jacob Hummel in free agency.

If the Rams don’t go linebacker in the first round, expect it to happen with one of their two third-round picks.
