It wasn’t pretty, but the Rams walked out of Baltimore with a 17-3 victory over the Lamar Jackson-less Ravens.
The Rams’ offense stumbled due to the injury to Puka Nacua. As the NFL’s No. 1 wide receiver heading into Week 6, Nacua left the game with an ankle injury after two receptions for 28 yards.
Nacua avoided a long-term injury, but the ankle sprain has him “week to week.” Nacua is unlikely to play against the Jaguars, but things could change once the team arrives in London.
With Nacua out, the Rams will turn to Davante Adams, Tutu Atwell, Jordan Whittington, and Konata Mumpfield.
It’s a small sample size, but Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is 0-2 SU and 1-1 ATS in international games. Sean McVay is also an excellent coach as a favorite in road or neutral games — 35-8 SU.
The third-ranked Rams offense (375.0 yards per game) now faces off against a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that leads the league in turnovers (14). Jacksonville is in the top 10 in scoring defense (20.0).
After an emotional victory against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Jaguars came out flat in the 20-12 home loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
No team has played more international games than the Jaguars (7–6–0 SU).
The loss of Nacua will have a huge impact on this Rams’ offense that only scored 17 points against a terrible Ravens defense.
The Jaguars’ defense, despite being ranked 30th against the pass, should be able to keep the Rams’ offense in check. The Rams might steal a win, but the Jaguars can cover in their home away from home.
Pick: Jaguars +3 (-120)
Rams vs. Jaguars Prop
Stafford is a different quarterback with Nacua.
In 2024, Nacua missed 11 regular-season games. Stafford’s interception total nearly tripled in games without Nacua during that timeframe.
Stafford only has two interceptions this season. Now, he faces a Jaguars’ defense that leads the league with 10 interceptions. The Jaguars get No. 11 on Sunday.
Pick: Matthew Stafford Over 0.5 Interception (-114)
