On Wednesday, it was reported that Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders was stopped by Ohio police driving 101 miles per hour in a 60 mile per hour zone on June 17. This news shook fans, and many, like me, hoped it was a one time incident, and we would never hear about this type of undisciplined behavior from Sanders again.
To be fair, Sanders is not the first or only player this has happened to; however, there is troubling news reported by Browns insider Brad Stainbrook, that this was not the first time he was stopped by Ohio police this month. Stainbrook tweeted that Sanders was pulled over in Medina County on June 6. It is not clear if that was also a speeding violation. There must have been a citation of some sort that Sanders opted not to dispute because he did not appear in traffic court on the appointed date of June 16 (a day before his 101 mph incident) to contest it.
#Browns QB Shedeur Sanders was also pulled over by Ohio State Patrol in Medina County on June 6th, per public records. The speed was not listed.
Sanders failed to appear in court on June 16th, the record shows.

Once again, I feel it necessary to say that I am a Shedeur Sanders fan. I want him to do well in Cleveland. The Browns deserve success and stability in a position that they have struggled to fill for years. Two incidents in a two-week span is not the way to get his NFL or Browns career started.
The Browns front office and Coach Kevin Stefanski need to sit him down for a lengthy chat immediately. Sanders cannot be getting in any more trouble with Ohio police. His driving decisions appear reckless and dangerous and cannot become habitual.
Shedeur Sanders’ father, Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, also known as Coach PRIME, has reportedly been dealing with an illness. This is not behavior he would tolerate either.
Once again, hopefully, this is the last time we hear about Shedeur Sanders being stopped in Ohio for driving incidents.
