Snow White Opening Weekend Box Office Predictions & Odds

The latest Disney animated movie to get the live-action treatment is Snow White. Does Disney have a massive winner on its hand? Below are the predictions and odds for Snow White’s opening weekend box office.
What Is Snow White About?
Rachel Zegler takes on one of Disney’s most famous princesses in this live-action reimagining of the 1937 animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
After losing both parents at a young age, Snow White (Zegler) is now the stepdaughter of the Evil Queen (Gal Gadot).
After the Magic Mirror deems Snow White the “fairest of one of all,” the Evil Queen orders her Huntsman to kill Snow White.
Snow White flees to the forest to escape the Evil Queen’s wrath. The forest is where she meets the Seven Dwarfs — Grumpy, Sneezy, Dopey, Sleepy, Happy, Bashful, and Doc.
With the help of the Dwarfs, Snow White fights to save the kingdom from her evil stepmother’s tyrannical reign.
Andrew Burnap, Ansu Kabia, Patrick Page, Hadley Fraser, and Lorena Andrea also star.
Marc Webb directs Snow White from a screenplay by Erin Cressida Wilson.
Snow White opens in theaters on March 21, 2025.

Odds via Polymarket on 3/20/25 at 9 p.m. ET
According to the odds, Snow White will likely have an opening weekend between $39 million and $44 million.
Snow White is tracking between $45 million and $55 million, so Polymarket believes the live-action movie will underperform.
Disney can’t afford to have another one of its animated-to-live-action movies underperform. The Little Mermaid had a solid $95.6 million opening weekend, but the film did not have strong legs and ended its worldwide gross at $569 million.
Considering Snow White has a $270 million budget, Snow White will need to make at least double that to be considered a minor hit.
