Super Bowl National Anthem 2025 Over/Under, Prop Bets, & Predictions For Jon Batiste

Super Bowl National Anthem prop bets and predictions for 2025 performer Jon Batiste.

Once a year, the Super Bowl national anthem becomes more than just an opening note. It’s a tradition, a wager, a race against the clock. Singer-songwriter Jon Batiste will take center stage this year, with oddsmakers setting the Over/Under at 120.5 seconds.

Last year, Reba McEntire stretched past her total of 89.5 seconds, hitting the over..One of the first Super Bowl prop bets to cash, the anthem sets the stage for a night where every second matters. And as the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles prepare for battle, the first contest begins before the ball is even kicked. A voice. A note. A countdown to history.

National Anthem Over/ Under Odds

As Jon Batiste takes the stage for Super Bowl LIX, the clock begins—long before kickoff, before the first snap, before history unfolds. Oddsmakers set his national anthem Over/Under at 120.5 seconds (-122 Over / +100 Under), and by January 29, the Over had moved to -142, the Under to +114. A shift, a trend, a belief taking shape.

Last year, Reba McEntire’s total opened at 84.5 before surging to 89.5 by kickoff. With Batiste at the mic this year, the number is higher—and for good reason. A gifted musician, he commands the stage, and sportsbooks have taken note. At -400, the odds favor him performing with a piano, a detail that could stretch each note and phrase just a little longer.

Beyond the length, the anthem is a canvas for props and predictions, where every note holds meaning. And in those fleeting seconds before the game begins, the first bet is already in motion.

History of the Super Bowl National Anthem Over/Under Prop

For 18 years, the Super Bowl national anthem has been more than just an opening note—it has been a possible wager, a guess, a heartbeat of anticipation before the first whistle is blown before the opening kickoff. In those years, the anthem has stretched beyond its mark ten times, fallen short seven, and landed ideally once.

But in the last seven Super Bowls, a trend has emerged. Five times, the anthem has soared past expectations. Each year, as the performer takes the stage, the clock starts, and for those watching—those betting—it’s not just about the song. It’s about the seconds, the breath, the crescendo of history playing out in real-time. Here is the history of the National Anthem over/ under since the inception of this beloved prop bet.

Super Bowl National Anthem 2025 Predictions

To open Super Bowl 57, Chris Stapleton played the guitar, had a full band, and hit the over, which would have cleared this year’s total of 120.5 seconds. With a bit of a musical intro and more extended notes due to the piano, I will be playing the over this year. I may also parlay it with the -400 that Batiste performs with the piano.

It should be noted that in the last Eagles Super Bowl, head coach Nick Siriani famously wept during the anthem in a game the Eagles lost. I expect him to be a bit more reserved this year, but still won’t touch the crying prop this year.

Predictions and Best Bets:

  • Over 120.5 seconds (-140)
  • Yes, performance includes piano (-400)
