At long last, the WTA Finals official photos have been released.
This is the most glamorous photo shoot of the season, and fans (like me) were wondering why it took so long to see the final product.
The best in the world ✨

Tennis Fans React To WTA Finals Singles Photo
Regarding the singles photo, Dawn said: “All of them look stunning individually but the composition of the photo as a whole is questionable”
They all look amazing but the setup is awful
Right side seems too crowded compared to left side, all seems a bit of a mess
And why is Rybakina that far back she may as well be back in Kazakhstan IJBOL https://t.co/4chXgvvCJt

The lack of expression and smiles had some fans question who was the creative director behind the photo.
Shino said: “Who did this photo? Girls look straight up sad (except Iga who looks happy and Aryna who looks like a villain)”
Others questioned where the trophy is because it is usually prominent in the photo.
The general feedback with noteworthy exceptions was that Aryna Sabalenka and Jasmine Paolini looked divine.
wta had 8 beautiful women to work with and the photoshoot is so underwhelming ☹️

Anna Zofia Niezgodzka said: “Why they all look like they’re about to cry?”
Many were pleasantly surprised by Diana Shnaider and Sara Errani. Shnaider wears the bandana when she plays so fans don’t often recognize her without it. Errani rarely is seen with her hair down.
Jasmine Paolini, who is the only player to appear in both photos, received rave reviews in the doubles photo also.
The doubles photo contains the trophy which made fans happy.
Overall, fans thought both photos missed the mark with staging and positioning of players and their expressions. Though the players’ looks were overall well-received, tennis fans were disappointed with the final photos and the delay in getting them out. Many thought last year (2024) and the year before (2023) were better photos.
