The Houston Texans have won in the Wild Card Round in consecutive seasons under DeMeco Ryans. However, Houston lost in the Divisional Round both times.
Is the third time the charm for Ryans and the Texans?
The Texans have seven picks in this year’s draft, including four in the top 89.

Offensive Line
The Texans began the offseason by trading left tackle Laremy Tunsil. Houston then moved on from Kenyon Green and guard Shaq Mason.
The Texans must address the offensive line during this draft.
Despite adding Laken Tomlinson, Cam Robinson, and Ed Ingram, Houston needs to solidify its line to protect C.J. Stroud.
Wide Receiver
The Texans moved on from wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who signed with the New England Patriots.
While the Texans added Christian Kirk, Tank Dell is expected to miss most of the 2025 season.
Expect Houston to snag a receiver on Day 2.
Defensive Tackle
The Texans have the luxury of having two studs coming off the edge in Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter.
However, the defensive tackles need upgrades.
Sheldon Rankins and Tim Settle Jr. are slated to start, but Houston should look to add depth at the position.
