The Los Angeles Dodgers Have 21% Chance Of Winning 2026 World Series

The Los Angeles Dodgers are still basking in the glow of their back-to-back championships after one of the most memorable World Series in recent memory. But the oddsmakers at the sportsbooks have wasted no time in making them the favorites to pull off a repeat, and are giving Shohei Ohtani and company a 21% chance to pull off the feat.

Dodgers Favored To Win It All Again In 2026

Los Angeles entered the 2025 MLB season as the team to beat, and capitalized on that notion. They were the far-and-away favorites to win it all from spring training all the way until the start of the playoffs, sometimes getting their designation all the way down into the +250 range.

They cruised through much of their first three series of the postseason, and then engaged in a heated battle with the Toronto Blue Jays. The Dodgers eventually came out victorious with heroic performances throughout the seven games, and became the first team to repeat as champions since the New York Yankees in 2000.

Those Yankees were actually the first three-peat champs since the early 1970s, and the Dodgers are hoping to do the same. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, they are listed as a +370 favorite, which carries implied odds of 21.3%.

Their odds were actually more favorable this past season. During 2025 training camp, Los Angeles was listed at +250, the lowest designation by a long shot.

2026 World Series Odds

Los Angeles Dodgers +370
New York Yankees +750
Philadelphia Phillies +1100
Houston Astros +1300
Seattle Mariners +1300

And like last year, the Yankees have the second-lowest figure of any team. DraftKings has New York at +750 (11.6%), making them and the Dodgers the only two teams with triple-figure designations. The Philadelphia Phillies are third on the list at +1100, followed by a tie between the Houston Astros and Seattle Mariners at +1300.

As for the Blue Jays, who came up short by a matter of inches in 2025, are further down the odds board. They will begin the offseason with a +2000 listing, which is tied for 10th-lowest of any MLB team.
