The Monkey Opening Weekend Box Office Predictions & Odds

Osgood Perkins tackles the famous Stephen King short story for his latest nightmare, The Monkey. Below are the predictions and odds for The Monkey’s opening weekend box office.
What Is The Monkey About?
The Monkey is based on King’s 1980 short story of the same name.
After finding their father’s toy monkey in the attic, twin brothers Hal and Bill (Theo James in dual roles) witness brutal and horrifying deaths around them.
The brothers believe the monkey is cursed, and the only way to change their luck involves ridding themselves of the toy. Hal and James throw out the monkey and go their separate ways.
Years later, the monkey resurfaces and wreaks havoc again, killing many in its path.
Forced to reunite, the brothers attempt to eliminate the monkey once and for all and end their family’s curse.
Besides James, The Monkey stars Tatiana Maslany, Elijah Wood, Christian Convery, Colin O’Brien, Rohan Campbell, and Sarah Levy.
The Monkey is written and directed by Perkins. The Monkey is Perkins’ first film since 2024’s Longlegs, one of the most successful movies of 2024.
The Monkey opens in theaters on February 21, 2025.
