NFL week 18, the final week of the NFL season, will have massive playoff implications.

There will be two games in which it is win or go home. A third game will be for the number one seed in the NFC.

These three games headline NFL week 18.

Three Massive Games Headline NFL Week 18 Schedule

It appeared as though week 18 could shape up to be a dud if certain things happened in week 17. Such as the Ravens losing to the Packers or the Steelers defeating the Browns. Well, Baltimore won, and Pittsburgh lost to the Browns. This makes the Steelers-Ravens matchup for the AFC North division crown and a trip to the playoffs. The loser does not make the playoffs.

Here are the three games with the most on the line in NFL week 18.

Carolina Panthers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers(-3.0) (O/U:43.5)

The Carolina Panthers will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the NFC South division crown and a chance to go to the playoffs. The loser of the game does not make the postseason.

This contest will be played on Saturday, January 3, at 4:30 PM EST.

Tampa Bay will limp in, having lost seven of its last eight games. Yet, they can still win the division with a win at home against the Panthers.

Carolina defeated the Bucs at home in week 16, but due to a week 15 loss against the lowly Saints, the Panthers did not clinch the division.

Tampa Bay lost in week 17 to the lowly Dolphins, but the Panthers faced the Seahawks and could not come out with the win. If the Panthers defeated Seattle, they would have clinched the division with the Bucs losing.

The NFC South will be decided on Saturday at 4:30 PM EST when the Panthers and Bucs square off once again.

Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers(-1.5) (O/U:49.5)

Not only is the Seattle Seahawks vs San Francisco 49ers for the NFC West division crown, but it is also for the number one seed in the NFC. It does not get much bigger than this game.

This contest will be played on Saturday, January 3, at 8 PM EST.

Super Bowl LX (60) will be played in Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, which is the home of the 49ers.

If the 49ers win this contest, they will have the number one seed and have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs and the Super Bowl if they get there.

Sam Darnold wants to avoid what happened last year in this exact scenario. He had the Minnesota Vikings fighting for the number one seed in the NFC and the NFC North crown last season against the Detroit Lions in week 18, but the Vikings, and especially Darnold, struggled mightily.

This season, a different team, a different division crown, but still the same scenario. Darnold wants to avoid what happened last season. He will face a 49ers defense that struggles to sack the QB.

Saturday, January 3, at 8 PM EST will be a must-watch as these two teams battle it out.

Baltimore Ravens(-3.0) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (O/U:40.5)

Well, the NFL Gods got what they wanted when they originally scheduled this game in week 18. There is no way the Ravens and Steelers will square off in week 18 without anything on the line.

In fact, everything is on the line. The winner is the AFC North champion and hosts a playoff game. The loser does not make the postseason.

This contest will be played on Sunday, January 4, at 8:20 PM EST.

A lot needed to happen in week 17 for this game to matter, and the NFL got what it wanted. A Steelers-Ravens contest with everything on the line as the final game of the regular season.

For this to happen, Baltimore needed to defeat the Packers, and the Steelers needed to lose to the Browns in week 17. Both happened, and here we are.

Pittsburgh will be without WR DK Metcalf and possibly T.J. Watt. Baltimore’s star QB Lamar Jackson is uncertain for this contest.

If Lamar plays, he may not be fully healthy.

With everything on the line, Sunday Night Football in week 18 is a must-watch.

Remaining NFL Week 18 Schedule

Here is the rest of the NFL week 18 schedule. There are still some scenarios, such as the Denver Broncos trying to clinch the number one seed in the AFC.
