Thunder Unveil 2024-25 Nike City Edition Uniforms

The Oklahoma City Thunder revealed their Nike City Edition uniforms for the 2024-25 season on Tuesday. The new threads will be worn for six home games this season during “City Nights.” The uniforms will also be paired with a special edition court.

2024-25 Nike City Edition uniforms are a tribute to Oklahoma City’s progression and cultural renaissance

Oklahoma City describes its City Edition uniform on X as being “Inspired by the past, pushing for the future.” It features an arched “Oklahoma” text across the chest, paying tribute to the design from the franchise’s first uniform in 2008. The belt line includes an outline of the state of Oklahoma as well.

“The 24-25 City Edition Uniform is an expression of Oklahoma City’s progression and unique cultural renaissance stemming from the optimism inherent in Oklahoma’s people and heritage,” Brian Byrnes, Thunder senior vice president of Business Operations, said in the news release.

“It pays tribute to the innovators that have shaped Oklahoma’s culture and are pushing it forward.”

The pops of color in the piping, chest mark, and numbers represent Oklahoma City’s energy, reflecting the bright and beautiful art designs found throughout the community.

Thunder will host its first City Nights game against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday, Nov. 17

Furthermore, OKC will host its first City Nights game against the Dallas Mavericks at 7 p.m. ET this Sunday. The contest is a rematch of last season’s Western Conference semifinals.

The Thunder started their season 7-0 and are now 9-2, following Monday night’s 134-128 win over the Los Angeles Clippers. All-Star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored a career-high 45 points in 39 minutes of action.

This news comes a day after the team announced that Chet Holmgren would miss at least eight weeks with a pelvic fracture. The 7-foot-1 forward suffered the injury on a hard fall during Sunday’s loss to Golden State.

Oklahoma City is scheduled to face the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night.
