Timothée Chalamet is doing everything in his power to promote his latest movie, Marty Supreme. Will his efforts pay off? View Polymarket’s latest box office odds for Marty Supreme below.
What is Marty Supreme about?
It’s time to dream big.
In Marty Supreme, Chalamet plays Marty Mauser, a confident New York City resident who excels at table tennis. Marty believes ping pong is the next great American sport and that he can be its face. After the world championships, Marty even thinks he’ll be on a Wheaties box.
Marty is determined to do whatever it takes to achieve his dream. If that means he has to hustle some people for money, so be it. Marty will scrap, claw, and fight to make it happen.
Marty Supreme’s ensemble includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara, and Fran Drescher.
Marty Supreme is directed by Josh Safdie from a screenplay he co-wrote with Ronald Bronstein. The movie is loosely based on the life of Marty Reisman, a real-life ping pong player from the ’50s and ’60s.
Marty Supreme is the first film Safdie has directed without his brother, Benny, since 2008’s The Pleasure of Being Robbed.
A24 is the studio behind Marty Supreme. It carries an estimated budget of $70 million, the highest in A24’s history.
Marty Supreme opens in theaters on December 25, 2025.

Will Chalamet’s marketing blitz pay off?
The soon-to-be 30-year-old has promoted this film all around the world, from New York and Los Angeles to London and Brazil.
The “Dream Big” jackets have been seen on celebrities and athletes, including Michael Phelps, Tom Brady, and Bill Nye the Science Guy.
Chalamet’s latest stunt involved him standing on top of the Vegas Sphere.
The Christmas Day release gives Marty Supreme extra days at the box office. Polymarket considers this a five-day weekend. The initial odds favor Marty Supreme coming in at less than $19 million.
However, don’t be surprised if Chalamet’s star power gets it over $20 million.
Marty Supreme will face competition from a slew of new releases, including Anaconda and Song Sung Blue.
All of those films will come in second to Avatar: Fire and Ash, which will be the No. 1 film at the box office again.
