Having an elite QB is mandatory in the NFL for success and winning a championship.

Pairing an elite QB with an elite WR is ideal. Even having a good WR1 to pair with an elite QB would suffice, as the QB will make the WR better.

There are only a handful of elite QBs in the league, but several QBs can win games with a good team around them.

Below are the top 10 QB/WR duos in the NFL in 2025.

Top 10 NFL QB-WR Duos In 2025

Having a good-to-great QB/WR duo is ideal for any NFL team.

Two elite QBs are left off the list. Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen do not have a true WR1. Travis Kelce is no longer an elite TE at this age, and the Bills have not given Allen a WR1. Both QBs are so good that they played in the AFC Championship game without having a true WR1.

Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill/Jaylen Waddle combination was left off the list. With Tua’s health always in question and Hill looking a step slower last season, they cannot be counted on in 2025. It is also rumored that Hill is not happy in Miami and could request a trade.

Below are the top 10 QB/WR duos in 2025.

10. Justin Herbert & Ladd McConkey

Ranking The 10 Best QB-WR Duos In 2025

Justin Herbert is one of the top QBs in the league.

Last season, he ranked ninth in passing yards, 12th in passing TDs, and had just three interceptions.

In his rookie season, McConkey had 82 receptions, 1,149 receiving yards, and seven receiving TDs.

McConkey became Herbert’s true number one WR as the season went on.

Expect bigger things from McConkey in 2025, and this offense should take a big step forward in 2025.

9. C.J. Stroud & Nico Collins

Ranking The 10 Best QB-WR Duos In 2025

C.J. Stroud will enter his third season in 2025, and he has led Houston to back-to-back division titles since entering the NFL.

Stroud needs to improve on the road, but he has emerged as a very good QB and helped a struggling Texans organization.

Nico Collins is one of the best wideouts in the league and can beat a team in many ways. Collins is a deep threat but can also run any route.

Stroud and Collins form a very good QB/WR duo.

8. Dak Prescott & Ceedee Lamb

Ranking The 10 Best QB-WR Duos In 2025

Dak Prescott only played in eight games last season, but when healthy, he and Lamb form a very good QB/WR duo.

Lamb ranked eighth in receptions and ninth in receiving yards despite not having his quarterback for more than half the season.

When healthy, the Cowboys have a dangerous QB/WR duo.

7. Lamar Jackson & Zay Flowers/Mark Andrews

Ranking The 10 Best QB-WR Duos In 2025

Lamar Jackson is one of the best QBs in the league.

Last season, he ranked sixth in passing yards, tied for second in passing TDs, threw just four interceptions, added 915 rushing yards, and four rushing TDs.

No QB is arguably more responsible for their team’s success than Jackson.

Zay Flowers is Lamar’s top WR and there is also Mark Andrews, who ranked tied for fourth with 11 receiving TDs last season.

Jackson can get it done through the air and on the ground.

Baltimore has one of the best offenses in the league.

6. Jalen Hurts & A.J. Brown/Devonta Smith

Ranking The 10 Best QB-WR Duos In 2025

Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, and Devonta Smith are coming off winning the Super Bowl.

They are on the list because, as a trio, they form a dangerous offense.

While Saquon Barkley was the offensive MVP last season, the Eagles proved to be able to throw to get the job done as well when needed.

Smith and Brown are a dangerous WR duo. Hurts’ athletic ability makes him one of the top QBs in the league.

The Eagles are stacked on offense and should once again have a top offense in 2025.

5. Baker Mayfield & Mike Evans

Ranking The 10 Best QB-WR Duos In 2025

Baker Mayfield has been one of the best QBs in the league since joining Tampa Bay.

Last season, Mayfield ranked third in passing yards and tied for second in passing TDs. One negative for Mayfield was that he led the league in interceptions last season.

Mike Evans is a future Hall of Fame WR. Evans has recorded over 1,000 receiving yards in each of his 11 seasons in the league.

Despite missing three games last season, Evans still ranked tied for fourth in receiving TDs.

When Chris Godwin is healthy, this makes Tampa Bay’s offense one of the best in the NFL.

Baker and Evans, along with a healthy Godwin, this offense should once again thrive in 2025.

4. Jared Goff & Amon-Ra St. Brown

Ranking The 10 Best QB-WR Duos In 2025

It will be interesting to see Detroit’s offense with Ben Johnson no longer the offensive coordinator.

With Ben Johnson, this was arguably the best all-around offense in the league.

Jared Goff has thrived in Detroit after the Rams traded him. Goff was second in passing yards and fourth in passing TDs last season.

Amon-Ra St. Brown has established himself among the best WRs in the league. He was second in receptions, fifth in receiving yards, and third in receiving TDs last season.

Detroit’s offense should remain elite and Goff/St. Brown makes for a dangerous QB/WR duo.

3. Jayden Daniels & Terry McLaurin

Ranking The 10 Best QB-WR Duos In 2025

No QB has ever had a better rookie campaign than Jayden Daniels did.

Not only did he lead the Commanders to 12 wins last season after winning four games two seasons ago, but he also led them to two playoff wins. One of those playoff wins came on the road against the Detroit Lions, in which the Commanders were heavy underdogs.

Terry McLaurin had an incredible season after finally having a good quarterback throw him the ball. McLaurin was always very talented, and Daniels showed that McLaurin is among the top wideouts in the league.

McLaurin was second in the league last season in receiving TDs.

In 2025, Daniels and McLaurin will continue to thrive and be among the best QB/WR duos in the league.

2. Matthew Stafford & Puka Nacua/Davante Adams

Ranking The 10 Best QB-WR Duos In 2025

The Rams let WR Cooper Kupp go, but they will not miss a beat as they replaced Kupp with an upgrade in Davante Adams.

If Higgins is the best WR2 in the league, Adams is the second-best. Adams is 32 years old, which is why Higgins is considered the best WR2, but Adams is still playing at a high level.

Puka Nacua and Matthew Stafford have tremendous chemistry, and Nacua has established himself among the top wideouts in the league.

LA was the only team to put up a fight against the Eagles in the playoffs and had a chance to defeat Philly in the postseason.

The Rams are a very good team, and they have an incredible QB/WR combination with Stafford throwing it to Nacua and Adams.

1. Joe Burrow & Ja’Marr Chase/Tee Higgins

Ranking The 10 Best QB-WR Duos In 2025

The Cincinnati Bengals paid big money to keep WRs Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins for Burrow.

Burrow explicitly stated he wanted the Bengals to pay Chase and Higgins, and they did so.

This is the most dangerous QB/WR combination in the league.

Chase is a top-two wide receiver in the NFL, and Higgins is arguably the best WR2 in the league.

Last season, Burrow led the league in passing yards and passing TDs. Chase led the league in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving TDs

Despite having the most dangerous offense in the league, the Bengals missed the playoffs last season due to a poor start and awful defense.

Still, having Burrow under center and throwing to Chase and Higgins makes this the best QB/WR combo in the NFL.
