The gold medal round featured Team USA and France.

With just under three minutes left, France’s Victor Wembanyama made a basket to make it 82-79 Team USA.

Then, Curry wrote the next chapter of his legendary career.

Team USA coach Steve Kerr said Curry told him to run “ear tug,” a pick-and-roll with LeBron James.

“Steph just basically said, ‘Give me the ball. I know where I want it. They can’t guard that,'” Kerr says in Court of Gold.

James came off the screen and hit Curry with a behind-the-back pass. Curry caught the ball and made a quick move before launching a three-pointer. Curry nailed the shot to give Team USA an 85-79 lead.

The three-point barrage did not stop there, as Curry hit two more from long distance.

With under one minute left and Team USA up 93-87, Curry capped off a spectacular game with a fadeaway three-pointer to ice the game. Curry pulled out the “night night” celebration as Team USA captured the gold medal with a 98-87 victory.

“99.99999% of the players in the world would have missed that shot. Only one guy could have made it. Him,” France’s Nicolas Batum said of Curry’s miraculous shot.
