Everything You Need To Know About Selection Sunday
When Is Selection Sunday?
Conference Championship tournaments will be played all over the country during the week of March 10th. By the time the afternoon rolls around on Sunday, March 16th, all of the results will be in, and it will be time for the Selection Committee to begin their process. The field for the men’s tournament is scheduled to start its reveal at 6pm ET, and the women’s side will be at 8pm ET.
How Can I Watch Selection Sunday?
Men’s Selection Sunday will the broadcasted on CBS, while the women’s Selection Sunday will air on ESPN.
When Do The Tournaments Start, And How Can I Watch Them?
The First Four for the men’s side will be played on March 18th & 19th. The official tournament of 64 gets underway on March 20th. Games will be shown on a family of networks that includes CBS, TNT, TBS, and TruTV. It is also available to stream on Paramount+.
On the women’s side, the First Four will take place on March 19th & 20th. The first round begins on March 21st. Games will be broadcasted mostly on the ESPN family of networks, including ESPNU and ESPNews, as well as ABC.
Where Will Tournament Games Be Played?
The men’s tournament will be played all over the country. There will be eight locations for the first and second round, ranging from places like Wichita, Kansas to Seattle, Washington. There will be 14 locations in all. The Final Four and National Championship will be played at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, and will begin on April 5th.
The women have a different format. The top 16 seeds host the first weekend of games, and the next rounds will be played at more central locations. This year, the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 will be played in Birmingham, Alabama and Spokane, Washington, and the Final Four and Championship will be played in Tampa, Florida.
