FILA tennis, in its heyday, was worn by Grand Slam champion and International Tennis Hall of Famer Kim Clijsters.
The brand has endured ups and downs over the years, but 2026 appears to be a downward spiral.
With the exception of American Brandon Nakashima, it seems like a lot of players are jumping ship.
The latest is Emma Navarro, who was once considered one of the top rising stars in women’s tennis. Navarro sported some great FILA kits in recent years, but she is officially done with the brand and has moved to FP Movement for 2026 with Asics footwear.
EXCLUSIVE for @VogueBusiness: Emma Navarro has signed with FP Movement after being with Fila since 2023. She's also signed a one year shoe deal with Asics.

Reilly Opelka, who sported the pink FILA cap frequently over the past couple of years, may be done with FILA also.
In his Adelaide International loss to Tommy Paul, Opelka is wearing nondescript clothing. However, the previous round he was donned in FILA so maybe his issue is more quantity of kits available.
Grand Slam champion Barbora Krejcikova left FILA for Head last year. In 2026, she is wearing Vuori.

Which Player Is The Biggest Loss For FILA?
Emma Navarro is easily the biggest loss for the brand. She wore some of the best tennis kits that everyone liked and essentially was keeping FILA on the wardrobe map.
Marta Kostyuk's Wimbledon dress was inspired by her wedding dress – also designed by Wilson!

The emerging brands are Wilson, who Marta Kostyuk has worn for years and had her wedding gown designed by, and On, with Iga Swiatek, Ben Shelton, Joao Fonseca, and Flavio Cobolli on board.
Neither brand was on the tennis clothing landscape a decade ago.
