At the very least, the Detroit Lions are going to leave plenty of excitement in their wake as they traverse their 2022 NFL schedule.

D’Andre Swift topped 1,000 yards from scrimmage during his sophomore season and has plenty of room for growth, especially with Jameson Williams coming aboard as part of the 2022 draft class and stretching the field vertically alongside Amon-Ra St. Brown, DJ Chark Jr., and T.J. Hockenson.

On the other end, Aidan Hutchinson will be aiming to put quarterbacks on the ground and rack up enough sacks alongside Romeo Okwara, Michael Brockers, Alex Anzalone, and Jarrad Davis to insert his name in the mix for Defensive Rookie of the Year.

But can Jared Goff do enough to push the Lions into the posteason picture and end a playoff drought that stretches back to 2016? If he can’t, plenty of strong signal-calling options will await in the 2023 NFL Draft.
