Aaron Rodgers Could Join Elite NFL Company In Week 8 This Season

With just one Super Bowl victory in his 20+ year professional career, Aaron Rodgers’ place among the NFL all-time great quarterbacks is a debated topic. But if he and the Pittsburgh Steelers are able to pick up a win during Week 8 of the 2025 season, then he’ll join a group of the greatest to ever play the game in one specific category.

Rodgers Could Be One Of Five NFL QBs To Beat All 32 Teams

A decision was finally made late last week. In a fashion that has been typical to him, Rodgers drew out the process of finding a new team. It took until June for him to make a decision on his future, and he chose to sign with the Steelers after months of rumors and beating around the bush.

There will be plenty of story lines that follow the situation in Pittsburgh all season long, including a big game in late October. During the Week 8 slate of the upcoming NFL season, the Steelers will host the Green Bay Packers, and Rodgers can become the 5th QB in league history to defeat all 32 teams over the course of his career.

Rodgers spent the first 18 years in the league as a member of the Green Bay Packers, and picked up wins against all other 31 teams in the league during his stay. He finally switched teams prior to the 2023 NFL season, spending the last two campaigns with the New York Jets, who didn’t play against Green Bay at all during his stay.

Should the Steelers pull off a win during that October 26th game, Rodgers will join the elite group of Tom Brady, Payton Manning, Drew Brees, and Brett Favre as the only quarterbacks to defeat every NFL team.

There will be other games that Rodgers has circled on his calendar. The Steelers will open the season by taking on the Jets in New York, and he’ll play against some familiar opponents throughout the slate. In addition to the Packers, Pittsburgh will also be facing off against the rest of the teams in the NFC North, all of whom Aaron Rodgers is very familiar with.
