Kevin Harvick issued a warning to 23XI Racing.
Sign Corey Heim now – or the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series frontrunner likely will sign a deal elsewhere. Soon.
Following a bye week, Heim enters Friday’s event at Pocono Raceway in near-complete control of he drivers’ standings, leading second-place Chandler Smith by 133 points (605-472). Currently driving for TRICON Garage, Heim posted four wins and eight top-10 finishes in 13 outings.
He also appeared in two Cup Series for 23XI Racing and three Xfinity Series events this season. He has led a circuit-best 812 laps.
Harvick said recently on his “Happy Hour” podcast that Heim is ready for a promotion.
“I don’t know why he’s there (in the Truck Series),” Harvick said. “If you’re 23XI … I wouldn’t let that go.”
Regardless, if 23XI expands to a fourth charter or moves on from one of its three pilots this offseason, which is unlikely, Heim will continue pursuing his first Truck Series title. He placed second last season and third in 2023. Heim (-110) tops the sports-betting odds to capture the circuit title, according to BetOnline Sportsbook.
Is the Xfinity Series Heim’s next full-time stop?
According to a new report, 23XI Racing’s lineup for the 2026 season is set, with all three of its drivers returning, which leaves Corey Heim without a full-time Cup Series ride for yet another year. Find out more on The Daily Downforcehttps://t.co/Iy2OctDfLP pic.twitter.com/lqt7Gsify7
