Ty Majeski Previews NASCAR 25 Video Game; Corey Heim Earns Top Craftsman Truck Series Drivers’ Championship Odds

With the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series idle until the July 25 short-track event at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, reigning circuit champion Ty Majeski could have extra time to play video games.

There’s a new one he said he likes.

Able to play an advance copy of NASCAR 25, Majeski experienced the Cup Series, Xfinity Series, Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series digital races. The video game, available on PCs and consoles, is scheduled for release this fall. The various series drivers will be available on “Career Mode.”

“Having the ability to build a NASCAR console game is a privilege we promise to execute with the utmost care. We look forward to working diligently with NASCAR industry stakeholders to deliver a product that provides an amazing experience for the gaming community and NASCAR fans worldwide,” iRacing President Tony Gardner said, as reported by The Daily Express.

Majeski, who drew the third-best sports-betting odds (+1000) to earn back-to-back titles, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, gave the video game a thumbs-up.

“Did some shooting for @Nascar25Game today,” Majeski posed on social media. “Even got to rip a few laps … you all are going to love it.”

Corey Heim appears to be playing with the Truck Series field this season. The points leader and the winner last Saturday at Lime Rock Park, Heim drew heavy-favorite odds at -160. Chandler Smith and Layne Riggs were second at +600.
